Game 1: Los Angeles Clippers (-4.5, -110) @ Brooklyn Nets, 6:00 p.m. EST

The Clippers have been waiting in New York, having played their last game at home on Thursday, while the Nets are coming off a 115-104 win in Washington last night. The Clippers have won three of the last four matchups in this series, and teams on the back-end of back-to-backs like the Nets are at a distinct disadvantage. Just this season, Brooklyn is 0-3 against the spread in the second game on back-to-back nights, losing by an NBA-worst 18.3 points per game. And I know it might not seem like a lot, but this game is being played at 6:00 p.m. EST instead of the usual 7:00 p.m., so that's one less hour of rest of the Nets' tired legs. These are also two teams seemingly headed in different directions with the Clippers having won three in a row and the Nets win last night being their first in four contests.

Game 2: Philadelphia 76ers @ Charlotte Hornets (-146), 7:00 p.m. EST

This is amazingly the third time these two teams have matched up this season, with the 76ers eking out two close wins, a 2-point win on Oct. 27 and a 1-point overtime victory on Nov. 9, both in Philadelphia. Well, this time the Hornets are well-rested at home, having last played on Tuesday night in Cleveland. The 76ers, on the hand, were in a dog fight in Philadelphia against a solid Utah Jazz team last night. This should be another nail-biter so we're going to wipe out the 2.5-point spread the Hornets would have to cover and just take this one moneyline.
