[The Duel will come out with a $10 parlay angle every day, tracking success on a rolling seven-day span. In the last seven days, The Duel staff has gone 0-7 in parlay bets with a -$70 payout differential. Overall, we're -$43.22].

Parlays aren't for the faint of heart. We've proven that by collectively losing seven parlays in a row, so let's hope two favored home teams get us off the schneid.

Game 1: New York Giants (+4, -110) at Atlanta Falcons (-4, -110), 8:15 p.m. EST

It's a tricky matchup on Monday Night Football between two teams that started the season with playoff aspirations and now sit in the cellar of their respective divisions. The Falcons are at home, where they've racked up their only two victories of the season, and QB Matt Ryan loves the primetime stage, tallying 20 TDs and just eight picks in 11 Monday-night games over his career. The Falcons are averaging 27.8 points per game, including 34.5 at home, while the Giants are averaging just 19.5 per game and a slightly better 23.7 on the road. The Falcons have too much firepower and should be able to run away with this one.

Game 2: Washington Wizards (+5, -110) at Portland Trail Blazers (-5, -110), 10:10 p.m. EST
The Trail Blazers are one of six undefeated teams left in the NBA, and they'll take on a Wizards team that hasn't won yet this season after dropping two close games to the Miami Heat and Toronto Raptors in Washington. After a cross-country flight for the Wizards, while the Portland players slept comfortably in their own beds, the scales tilt even further in favor of the Blazers. And remember, they were 28-13 at home in the Moda Center last season.
