5 Best NBA Player Props for Saturday Night Games

When it comes to betting on player performances, there's no other league that allows the level of autonomy and control over individual performances like the NBA does. You could always bet on a quarterback or running back to have so many yards, but if their offense line doesn't show up, neither does your the return on your bet.

Here are five interesting NBA player prop bets to consider for Saturday night.

5. Caris LeVert: Over 18.5 Total Points (-106) at Indiana Pacers

Brooklyn Nets shooting guard Caris LeVert has gotten off to a surprisingly explosive start to the 2018-19 season with 28 points and 29 points in his first two games. Chances are the third-year, former first-round pick will regress from those kinds of numbers tonight in Indiana, but dropping by 10 or more points seems like a stretch.

4. Ben Simmons: Over 9.5 Rebounds (-138) vs. Orlando Magic

Despite playing point guard, Ben Simmons has actually out-rebounded center Joel Embiid in both of Philly's first two games this season, tallying 15 and 13 boards in those two contests. An over/under set at less than double digits seems a little low for arguably the best rebounding PG in the league.

3. James Harden: Under 3.5 Made 3-Pointers (+106) at Los Angeles Lakers

That's right James, three 3-pointers (see above photo) will be just enough to land you under your over/under total for shots made from beyond the arc tonight when the Rockets take on LeBron James and the new-look Lakers in their first home game of the season. Whether Harden goes over or under tonight, he's one of the favorites to lead the league in threes this season.

2. LeBron James: Under 27.5 Total Points (-106) vs. Houston Rockets

LeBron James makes his home debut in the Purple and Gold tonight in Los Angeles against the Houston Rockets and expecting him to score more than 27 points seems like a storybook start to his Lakers career at the Staples Center. He'll likely top 20, but anything more than 25 seems like a stretch. Expect a show from The King either way.

1. Clint Capela: Over 0.5 Assists (-215) at Los Angeles Lakers

An over/under of 0.5 assists almost seems like a joke, but it's a reality for Clint Capela tonight in Los Angeles. We're talking about a paint-monster that's actually averaged nearly double the total blocks (1.4) than assists (0.8) over his four-year NBA career. To make things even more interesting, the Swiss-born big finished with a single assist in Houston's season-opening loss.
