LeBron James leaving the Cleveland Cavaliers and putting on the Purple and Gold as a Los Angeles Laker was easily the biggest sports storyline of the entire summer. Now he's ready to make his regular-season debut, and what a show it should be.

Here are the five best prop bets for one of the best players to ever take the court in his debut as a Los Angeles Laker against the Portland Trailblazers tonight.

1) James Total Points: Over 26.5 (-105) /Under 26.5 (-120)

James needs only 28 points in his debut to break Kareem Abdul Jabbar's record for most points scored by a Laker in a debut in franchise history. Something gives me the feeling that LeBron is aware of this record too, and what better way to assert your presence among the legends from LA than break one of their records in your first game.

2) James Total Rebounds: Over 8.5 (+100) / Under 8.5 (-120)

Considering Kyle Kuzma will likely be on the bench for the majority of the minutes that James and Brandon Ingram are on the floor together, it really just comes down to whether or not King James can out-rebound the 21-year-old Ingram for nine or more boards.

3) James Total Assists: Over 7.5 (+110) / Under (-135)

James has been an incredible facilitator on offense for just about his entire career, and joining this youthful core in Los Angeles should only yield an increase in the assist department as he garners a disproportionate amount of defensive energy and focus.

4) Team to Score First: Los Angeles Lakers (-110)

When LeBron is on your team, you have to love your odds on having him put the ball through the hoop before anyone else on the court does. But, of course, this could always come down to a bad tip that sends the Blazers running down to the other end for an unguarded layup.

5) Wire to Wire: Los Angeles Lakers (+390)

Greatness is as greatness does, so why not get a little romantic with this one? Let's just say the Lakers do end up scoring first with some incredible LeBron dunk, don't be surprised if the new-look Lakers never look back and hang on to the lead all the way to the final buzzer.
