Most people say that you truly don't know anything about an NFL team's tendencies until after Week 4. Well, we don't subscribe to that newsletter. The FanDuel Sportsbook updated their odds for NFL Associated Press MVP, and there were a few long-shot options that can net bettors a nice return by getting in on the action now. Let's take a look at the darkhorses.

1. Christian McCaffrey - RB (Carolina Panthers): +7000

Yeah, I know. McCaffrey hasn't even scored a touchdown yet this season, but he's already got a 102-yard receiving performance and a 184-yard rushing performance under his belt through three games. The Panthers have a bye in Week 4, so look for them to get creative over the break and find ways to get their second-year stud in the end zone once their schedule resumes.

2. Ryan Tannehill - QB (Miami Dolphins): +7000

The Dolphins are off to a 3-0 start, thanks in part to Tannehill, who has at least two touchdown passes in each of the first three games. A win at Foxboro on Sunday would certainly open some eyes, and we all know the quarterback is usually the one who gets most of the credit in these scenarios.

3. Tyreek Hill - WR (Kansas City Chiefs): +5000

No wide receiver in NFL history has ever won the Associated Press MVP award, but Hill's opening-game heroics put him firmly on the map. Defenses have started to pay more attention to him over these last two weeks, but he still has great overall numbers early on this season -- 14 catches on 19 targets for 310 yards, three receiving touchdowns and another one that hit pay dirt via punt return.
