After Tuesday night saw both the National League Wild Card-chasing Milwaukee Brewers and Colorado Rockies fall, there's just a certain aura about tonight's rematches that seems to hint that it won't happen again Wednesday.

Game 1: Cincinnati Reds (+152) @ Milwaukee Brewers (-170), 7:40 p.m. EST

Despite boasting the second best home record in the entire NL, the Brewers dropped an unexpected game at home to the Reds last night in Milwaukee. But I wouldn't expect that to happen again tonight against a terrible road team, and especially not with an NL Wild Card spot on the line.

Milwaukee's Gio Gonzalez has been solid in the month of September so far with a 2.61 ERA across two starts and 10.1 innings pitched. It's not like Matt Harvey (7-8, 4.67 ERA) has been at the top of his game lately either.

Game 2: Colorado Rockies (+198) @ Los Angeles Dodgers (-230), 10 p.m. EST

With the Rockies 1.5 games back of the Dodgers in a race for the NL West lead, dropping behind by another full game with a loss again Wednesday night just isn't an option for a Rockies club battling to stay in the postseason after losing their star Trevor Story to an elbow injury

Even though it's going to be a tough hill to climb on the road against the Dodgers' starter Walker Buehler and his 2.88 ERA, desperation has inspired crazier things in the past.
