With the 2019 Masters teeing off on Thursday morning, don't forget that you can do more than just bet on who's going to win the tournament. There are a ton of prop bets available on FanDuel Sportsbook, ranging from round leaders to best group finishes. With that in mind, here are five of the best prop bets you should consider placing a wager on.
1. Leader After Round 1: Rory McIlroy (+1200)
Rory McIlroy has had his fair share of trouble closing out wins at Augusta National, but he's also had a ton of success in the early rounds of the tournament. Rory is playing some of the best golf of his career and is the betting favorite – at +650, according to FanDuel Sportsbook – to grab the green jacket. Coming into the clubhouse after day one with the lead is entirely possible when you combine those two things.
2. Top Debutant: Aaron Wise (+850)
Aaron Wise, like most first-time participants in the Masters, is widely unknown. Although, he has played quite well for a young guy this year. So far in 2019, Wise has one top-10 finish and three top-20 finishes. He also went toe-to-toe with Tiger Woods recently in the WGC-Dell Match Play Championships. He's 29th on tour in average driving distance and 9th in birdie average, two things that should go a long way at Augusta.
3. Top English Player: Paul Casey (+380)
Paul Casey has been playing some of his best golf leading up to the Masters. He's already notched three top-5 finishes, including a win at the Valspar Championship three weeks ago. He followed that up with a T-9 at the WGC-Dell Technologies Match Play. Casey ranks 10th on tour in driving accuracy percentage and 2nd in eagles per hole.
4. Tiger Woods To Record an Eagle on Any Hole (-120)
Augusta has its fair share of holes that will terrorize golfers, but one place you're able to score on the course is on its par 5s. Tiger Woods has recorded an eagle in the last two Masters he's played in and that was before he got the first win on his comeback tour. Now, coming into Augusta with renewed confidence and in even better physical shape, Tiger should be able to grab at least one eagle this week.
5. Group E Winner: Matt Kuchar (+240)
Matt Kuchar is quietly on pace to have one of the best years of his career. He already has two wins in 2019 and five top-10 finishes. He ranks No. 1 in the FedExCup standings and is coming off a T-7 in last week's Valero Texas Open. Kuchar ranks 1st on tour in greens in regulation, 6th in driving accuracy percentage and top-15 in scoring average and birdie average. This could lead to him winning his group over big names like Bubba Watson (+230), Marc Leishman (+270) and Tony Finau (+280).
