4 Best Prop Bets for Rams vs Seahawks NFL Week 5 Thursday Night Football Game
By Max Staley

The Los Angeles Rams are coming off a shocking loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 4 – a game that featured a ridiculous 95 combined points scored. The Rams will look to rebound on "Thursday Night Football" in an NFC West divisional matchup with the Seattle Seahawks.
Seattle is a 1.5-point favorite, according to FanDuel Sportsbook, but if you're looking for an alternative way to wager on this game, here are four of the best prop bets for the Thursday night matchup between the Rams and Seahawks.
1. Jared Goff - Passing Yards: Under 278.5 (-112)
If you just looked at the box score for the Rams' Week 4 game, you likely assumed Jared Goff played pretty well. But that certainly wasn't the case. Even though he threw for 517 yards, he needed 68 attempts to do so, and the QB also tossed three INTs against a shaky Tampa Bay secondary. This continues what has been a worrying trend for Goff, who has been ineffective as a passer recently. Those struggles have been magnified away from home, as he averaged 243.9 passing yards per game on the road in 2018, compared to 342.1 yards per game in LA. Seattle is a notoriously difficult place to play, and Goff could struggle to reach 279 yards tonight.
2. Russell Wilson - Passing TDs: Over 1.5 (-176)
Russell Wilson has looked as impressive as ever to start the season, throwing for multiple TDs in three of the Seahawks' four games. The lone exception was last week against the Arizona Cardinals, as Seattle had a 20-3 lead at halftime and didn't need Wilson to do much in the second half. Wilson also dominated the Rams last season, tossing three TDs in both games against his NFC West rival.
3. Todd Gurley - Rushing Yards: Over 58.5
While Todd Gurley has been less involved in the Rams' offensive attack early in the season, he remains an effective runner. Gurley has reached 59 yards in two out of four games, and has dominated the Seahawks in recent matchups. He's totaled at least 59 rushing yards in three consecutive games against Seattle, averaging 116.3 rushing yards per game during that span. Gurley has seen at least 14 carries in three of four starts in 2019, the lone exception being a Week 4 contest where the Rams fell into a 21-0 first-half hole. If Gurley gets a similar workload tonight, he has a chance to eclipse this over/under total.
4. DK Metcalf - Receiving Yards: Over 48.5 (-112)
DK Metcalf has quickly become an integral part of Seattle's passing attack, totaling at least 61 yards in each of his first three games at the NFL level. He fell off last week, catching just one pass for six yards, but Seattle's 20-3 halftime lead has something to do with that. Metcalf should be more involved tonight, and he could feast on a Rams secondary that just allowed Mike Evans and Chris Godwin to combine for 261 yards in Week 4. The Seahawks' rookie is also a bonafide big-play wide receiver, with receptions of 42 and 54 yards on the season, which suggests that he could get loose again on Thursday Night Football.
