As we make our way into head-to-head fantasy baseball's Week 13, there are a few two-start pitchers that should be quality streaming options for those in need of an extra start or two this upcoming week.
With that in mind, here are three two-start pitchers worth a waiver wire add for Week 13.
3. Marco Gonzales, Seattle Mariners
Marco Gonzales went through a bit of a rough patch recently, but it seems like he's found his groove. The 27-year-old lefty owns a 2-0 record with a 1.98 ERA over his last two starts (13 2/3 innings pitched). Gonzales' starts against the Milwaukee Brewers and Houston Astros this week aren't exactly easy matchups, but the Brewers provide strikeout potential (9.52 strikeouts per game, No. 26 in MLB). Additionally, Gonzales has already faced the Astros once this season, falling just 2/3 of an inning short of a quality start. Gonzales is owned in just 35 percent of Yahoo! Fantasy Baseball leagues.
2. Trevor Richards, Miami Marlins
Trevor Richards is one of the top two-start streaming options to own this week. The 26-year-old righty sports a 2-2 record with a 2.43 ERA and 27 strikeouts over his last five starts. With home starts against the Washington Nationals and the struggling Philadelphia Phillies (2-8 in their last 10 games) slated for this week, Richards has a pretty good shot of getting in the win column. Richards is still available in 71 percent of Yahoo! Fantasy Baseball leagues.
1. Adam Plutko, Cleveland Indians
Adam Plutko has had some up-and-down performances this season, but he has an extremely favorable slate of matchups this week. The 27-year-old righty will toe the rubber against a Kansas City Royals team that is batting just .244 (No. 11 in the AL) and a Baltimore Orioles club that owns a collective .691 OPS on the year (No. 13 in the AL). Plutko is still available in 95 percent of Yahoo! Fantasy Baseball leagues.
