3 Most Likely Teams to Draft CeeDee Lamb

CeeDee Lamb made waves at the 2020 NFL Combine, making spectacular catches and showing off his prodigious athletic talent. The former Oklahoma receiver has been mentioned as mid-first round pick, and he did nothing to hurt his cause this week.

Lamb caught 62 passes for 1,327 yards in his junior season with the Sooners before declaring for the 2020 NFL Draft. The 6-foot-2 wideout profiles as a potential No. 1 receiver with great catch ability and route-running skills. Here are the three most likely teams to take Lamb in this year's draft.

1. Arizona Cardinals

Lamb was one of Kyler Murray's favorite targets in college, and the Arizona Cardinals are in need of another standout wide receiver. Larry Fitzgerald is returning for 2020, but he's turning 37 and the Cardinals don't have much depth behind him. Arizona needs upgrades all over the depth chart, especially at offensive line, but selecting Lamb would still be a solid move.

2. Indianapolis Colts

The Indianapolis Colts are in a tough spot at No. 13, as they are far from the running for a top quarterback to potentially replace Jacoby Brissett, but also need help elsewhere on the team, especially at wideout. T.Y. Hilton played only 10 games last season and no longer looks like a bankable No. 1 option. Lamb would immediately be one of the best receivers on the Colts, who rolled with Dontrelle Inman and Zach Pascal behind Hilton last year. If Lamb is still available when the Colts pick, he will be one of the best options on the board.

3. Denver Broncos

The Denver Broncos would be a great landing spot for Lamb. Denver needs another receiver to pair with Courtland Sutton and Lamb should help the development of second-year passer Drew Lock. His all-around skills would fit well in the Broncos' system, allowing Sutton to find more open space. If Lamb is somehow still available at No. 15, the Broncos should rush to the podium.
