3 Best Kansas City Chiefs Player Prop Bets for Super Bowl 54

The NFL season is coming to an end, with the Kansas City Chiefs and San Francisco 49ers meeting in Super Bowl LIV. This championship matchup is as close as it gets, with the Chiefs favored by just 1.5 points on FanDuel Sportsbook.
If you're looking for an alternative way to wager on this one, here are three of the best prop bets for Kansas City Chiefs players in the 2020 Super Bowl.
1. Patrick Mahomes - Passing Yards: Under 297.5 (-112)
Considering his dominant playoff run, pushing close to 300 yards passing might not seem like a tall task for Patrick Mahomes. His regular-season average was just 287.9 per game, though, and he only went over 297.5 in one of his final six regular season games. Factor in the 49ers defense checking in at second against the pass in Football Outsiders' DVOA metric, and this line looks it may be pretty heavily inflated.
2. Damien Williams - Rushing Yards: Under 53.5 (-112)
The 49ers don't rank quite as highly against the run, but they're still above average, at 11th. With a tight spread in this game, the Chiefs aren't likely to be nursing a heavy lead and taking a run-heavy shift, meaning Damien Williams could have a tough time seeing enough volume to go over 53.5 yards. He's only seen more than 12 carries four times this season, also eclipsing 53.5 on four occasions. With his often limited volume, it takes some serious efficiency for him to hit that mark, which hasn't been something we've seen from him often. He's averaged 4.3 yards per carry or better in only two games this year, and a matchup with the 49ers isn't a great spot to predict a bounce-back in that metric.
3. Travis Kelce - Receiving Yards: Over 73.5 (-112)
While taking the under on the Chiefs' QB and top RB may seem pessimistic, it's not all doom and gloom for the offense. Travis Kelce just had one of his quietest games of the season in the AFC Championship, and that seems to have driven down expectations. He's had over 73.5 yards in six of his last nine games, averaging 80.8 yards on 6.8 receptions per game during that stretch. Those averages aren't too far off his regular-season averages of 6.1 receptions and 76.8 yards per game. Even if Mahomes doesn't hit his over, Kelce should still have a great shot at his.
