What's better than a full MLB slate featuring all 30 teams on a Saturday? Being able to bet on all 15 games.
And lucky for us, FanDuel Sportsbook has us covered with betting lines and odds for every matchup today.
After eight games on Friday, the first of today's 15 games kicks off at 1:05 p.m. EST when James Paxton and the New York Yankees host the Baltimore Orioles. The Yankees took the first matchup in the series against Baltimore, 7-2, on Thursday.
The Yankees are also the heaviest favorites on today's slate with -420 odds to win straight up, so the pressure will likely be on the Yankees' newly acquired ace to live up to the hype.
The Braves vs. Phillies and Cubs vs. Rangers have the highest run totals on the day with an over/under of nine runs. Bryce Harper was hitless in his Phillies debut, but the club still managed to put up 10 runs against the Braves on Opening Day. If (and when) he gets his bat going, Philadelphia could be one of the most dangerous offenses in the NL.
The Phillies, who are -148 moneyline favorites, will send righty Nick Pivetta to the mound against Bryse Wilson, who is ranked the Braves' No. 7 prospect.
The Cubs will look to steal back-to-back road games against the Rangers after winning the first game, 12-4. They'll be starting the four-time All-Star, Yu Darvish, who will look to bounce back from a statistically poor 2018 campaign. Darvish will be dueling righty Edinson Volquez, a 35-year-old starter looking to show that he still has some juice left in his arm in his 14th season in this bigs.
Whether you make it out to the ballpark or just sit at the couch at home, baseball fans are likely just happy that the first weekend of baseball is finally here.
