Valentina Shevchenko will take on Lauren Murphy in a highly anticipated UFC 266 flyweight title bout on Saturday, September 25. It will all go down at the T-Mobile Arena in Paradise, Nevada.

Fans are hyping up the bout given Shevchenko has been one of the most dominant champions on the UFC roster and is set up to defend her title for the sixth consecutive time.

FanDuel Sportsbook has posted opening odds for the fight.

Shevchenko vs Murphy Odds

Valentina Shevchenko has opened as a massive -720 favorite, while Lauren Murphy is a +520 underdog.

Shevchenko is coming off a lopsided TKO victory over Jessica Andrade during her last appearance in April. The 33-year-old menace has posted a 21-2-0 record in her professional career, with 7 knockouts and 7 submissions. Her only losses came in two close battles with two-division champion Amanda Nunes.

On the other side, this will be Murphy's first crack at winning the title as she is currently riding a five-fight win streak in the flyweight division. Her recent split decision win over Joanne Calderwood officially put her on the map as a true threat. Overall, the 37-year-old is 15-4-0 with 8 knockouts and 1 submission.
