The Tampa Bay Buccaneers made it clear during Tom Brady's retirement that they would need a nearly impossible haul in order to trade the seven-time Super Bowl champion. With Brady now officially back, the team seems keen to keep him around for this season and beyond.

That hasn't stopped trade rumors from popping up, though, as the latest noise connected Brady and the Miami Dolphins. NFL insider Jeff Howe quickly weighed in on those murmurs.

Howe shot down the suggestions that Miami was working on a deal to land Brady. The Dolphins have shown they're not afraid to be bold and swing for the fences this offseason, but the three-time MVP is clearly off of the market.

Hopefully Buccaneers fans can now breathe a sigh of relief after Dale Arnold of NESN first suggested Brady-Dolphins trade talks were taking place earlier on Thursday.

This isn't the first time Brady has been linked to Miami. Fellow Michigan alum and current Dolphins owner Stephen Ross was reported to be interested in landing the veteran QB earlier this offseason, whether as the new face under center or as a minority owner of the team.

Though these rumors likely won't go away given Brady's connections to Miami, it's clear the Buccaneers are intent on keeping him around for as long as possible.
