The NBA's Rookie of the Year award race is still dominated by one player following the All-Star break. LaMelo Ball continues to lead the pack with -550 odds to win ROY, per FanDuel Sportsbook's NBA futures.

Sacramento Kings point guard Tyrese Haliburton (+600) and Minnesota Timberwolves guard Anthony Edwards (+1200) trail the Hornets' standout, and they have quite a gap to close if they want to be in serious contention.

New York Knicks point guard Emmanuel Quickley (+2400), Golden State Warriors big man James Wiseman (+3000) and Orlando Magic guard Cole Anthony (+4200) round out the top candidates. The remaining rookies have odds at +8500 or greater.

LaMelo Ball Rookie of the Year Odds

FanDuel Sportsbook's NBA futures odds heavily favor Ball at -550, up from -350 and -410 over the past month. Ball is currently averaging 15.8 points, 6.3 assists and 6.0 rebounds per game.

The 6-foot-7 guard moved into the Hornets' starting lineup to begin the month of February and hasn't looked back. He'll be key to the team's playoff push as they hope to secure a postseason appearance for the first time since the 2015-16 season.

LaMelo continues to ball out, which has him leading the Rookie of the Year race.
