The 2021 NFL Draft is right around the corner and there are a few intriguing running backs who could be taken in the first round. One of them happens to be Clemson Tigers running back Travis Etienne.

Etienne spent all four seasons of his collegiate career with the Tigers. When all was said and done, he finished with 6,107 yards from scrimmage and 78 touchdowns.

Etienne could end up being drafted towards the end of the first or beginning of the second round. So, here are three teams who are likely to draft Etienne in that range.

3. Pittsburgh Steelers (No. 24)

With James Conner leaving the team in free agency, the Pittsburgh Steelers could use another talented running back. As it stands, Benny Snell is their starter and, with all due respect to him, they could use an upgrade after he recorded just 4 touchdowns and 368 yards on 111 attempts (3.3 Y/A) in 2020. Etienne is a more talented back that can handle pass-catching responsibilities, which is something Snell can't do.

2. Atlanta Falcons (No. 35)

The Atlanta Falcons would be silly not to draft Etienne if he fell to them at the beginning of the second round. Former Carolina Panthers RB Mike Davis is currently the team's lad back, especially after they released Ito Smith on Thursday. Davis is 28 years old and even though he still has some football left in him, having both him and Etienne in the backfield could be a step to reigniting the Falcons' offense.

1. Miami Dolphins (No. 36)

If Etienne falls in the draft and the Falcons don't snag him, the Miami Dolphins definitely should. The team already has a backfield that includes Myles Gaskin, Malcolm Brown and Salvon Ahmed, but none of them can touch Etienne's talents. Guys like Gaskin and Brown just don't have that game-changing potential that Etienne brings to the table.
