The Las Vegas Raiders got a taste for playoff action last season and head into the 2022 offseason hungry for more. New head coach Josh McDaniels is determined to get the most out of the current roster, but the team would benefit from some more talent being added via the free agent market.

The good news is that recent contract restructures of left tackle Kolton Miller and running back Kenyan Drake has freed up over $14.5 million. The Raiders cap space now sits north of $32 million overall. Let's take a look at three free agents Las Vegas should sign with their newfound cash.

Raiders Free Agency

1. DJ Chark, WR

Las Vegas has to find a way to upgrade its receiving core without breaking the bank. That may be hard to do in a class filled with big names like Allen Robinson and Odell Beckham Jr. One player that is flying under the radar is DJ Chark. The four-year pro has already made on Pro Bowl in his career and averages a reliable 13.9 yards per reception. Chark's ability to get past defenders with his acceleration and haul in passes deep down the field is exactly what Derek Carr needs in a new offensive weapon. The LSU product's upside alone makes him well worth about $10 million per year.

2. Austin Corbett, OL

Despite the Raiders' success in 2021, they still struggled to provide solid protection up front. The offensive line tied for the 11th-most sacks allowed in the NFL (40.0) and starters kept shifting from week to week. Austin Corbett sticks out as a potential free agent target given he played in over 1,000 snaps for the Los Angeles Rams last season and gave up just 3 sacks. The four-year pro would be an upgrade over both John Simpson and Alex Leatherwood, while also providing Las Vegas with some much needed depth. Corbett's expected market value is $8.7 million, according to Spotrac, which makes him an affordable option.

3. Austin Johnson, DT

Finding a few bargains on the free agent market should be one of the Raiders' top goals this offseason. Those players that come out of nowhere to produce at a high rate can be the difference between making the playoffs or finishing at the bottom of the division. Las Vegas tied for the 12th-fewest sacks in 2021 (35.0) and could use some pop along the D-line. Don't overlook Austin Johnson after he posted a career-high 72 tackles (6 for loss) and 3.5 sacks last fall. The sixth-year pro started all 17 games with the New York Giants and excelled under Patrick Graham. With Graham in Las Vegas now, bringing in Johnson makes a lot of sense.
