FanDuel Fantasy Golf Picks for the World Wide Technology Championship at Mayakoba at El Camaleón Golf Course

With the new PGA Tour season well underway now, players are now preparing for the World Wide Technology Championship at Mayakoba at the El Camaleón Golf Course. While it's not the most elite field, it still has some impressive names teeing it up.
Let's take a look at some golfers to consider when putting together your fantasy team this week.
World Wide Technology Championship at Mayakoba Fantasy
Viktor Hovland:
Viktor Hovland had a really solid last season, grabbing seven top-10 finishes and one win, and also landed four top-20 finishes in his last six starts, highlighted by a T-5 at the Tour Championship to close out the season. He started off this season a little rocky, finishing T-44 at the Shriners Children's Open. However, he quickly followed that up with a big improvement and a T-18 finish at The CJ Cup @ Summit. This week, he comes back to a course he dominated last year, going 20-under across the four day event and earning a win. He already ranks near the top in a number of Strokes Gained (SG) categories this season, including SG: Off the Tee (5th), SG: Approach The Green (15th), SG: Tee-To-Green (8th) and SG: Total (9th).
Tony Finau:
Tony Finau doesn't have a win in this event like Hovland does, but he definitely has had some success here. He has three top-10 finishes on this course out of his five career starts here, including a 8th-place finish last season. His lone start this season was a T-45 at The CJ Cup @ Summit but coming back to a place where he has seen such success, it wouldn't be a surprise to see Finau on the top of this leaderboard on Sunday.
Aaron Wise:
Aaron Wise represents some of the best of both worlds here in that he's playing great coming into this event, and he's also had some past success on this course. Not only was he the runner up to Hovland in this event last season, but he also finished 10th here in 2019. Now, when it comes to his current form, Wise is coming off two consecutive top-10 finishes with a T-8 and T-5 in his last two starts, respectively. Wise's ball striking has been a major strength so far in this short season. He ranks No. 7 on tour in Greens in Regulation (GIR). No. 9 in SG: Around-The-Green, No. 8 in SG: Tee-To-Green and No. 12 in SG: Total. All of these should point to another viable week for Wise in this event.
