Ezekiel Elliott was shaping up to be a true game-time decision for Week 9, but it appears as if the Dallas Cowboys' star RB will give it a go. He's too good to even think about benching, but his fantasy managers might want to temper their expectations in a brutal matchup with the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Ezekiel Elliott Fantasy Outlook
Entering Week 9, Pittsburgh was the league's second-best run defense according to Football Outsiders' DVOA metrics. The Steelers are also surrendering just 96.9 rushing yards per game (No. 5 in the NFL), allowing just 4.0 yards per carry (T-No. 7).
Those circumstances would make this a difficult spot for Elliott regardless, but with Garrett Gilbert starting at QB, things could get ugly for the Cowboys' offense as a whole in Week 9.
Elliott is still a no-doubt starter this week, but he's probably not going to be the top-five RB he usually is.
