Eli Mitchell Injury Update Solidifies Week 12 Fantasy Outlook

Elijah Mitchell's finger injury status has limited him at practice all week, but fantasy managers relying on him got some great news on Sunday morning.
Elijah Mitchell Injury Update
The 49ers have found a way to protect his finger, and he's fully expected to suit up against the Minnesota Vikings. This gives him a strong fantasy football outlook for the week.
#49ers RB Elijah Mitchell (rib, finger) is listed as questionable, but is expected to play, source said. He missed one week and has a pin in his finger, but should be able to play assuming no setbacks.

Mitchell sat in Week 11, but when he's healthy he is a clear workhorse in this 49ers offense. He notched 18-plus carries in 3 of his last four games. The fourth saw him rack up 5 receptions in a one-sided loss that forced the 49ers to abandon the run.
They won't likely need to abandon the run this week, as they check in as 3-point favorites over the Vikings, according to FanDuel Sportsbook's NFL odds.
The Vikings have allowed the NFL's 11th most fantasy points per game to opposing running backs and rank just No. 27 in Football Outsiders' run defense DVOA metric.
Mitchell should have no issue turning his big volume into big fantasy production today, and managers can feel very good about plugging him back into their starting lineups.
