Tigers Get Bad News on Spencer Turnbull Injury Update
By Max Staley

The Detroit Tigers just can't catch a break this season. Starting pitcher Spencer Turnbull has been one of the lone bright spots for the team in 2021, but he was forced to leave a start against the Chicago White Sox on Friday night.
And now, the team has placed him on the 10-day Injured List due to a right forearm strain.

RHP Bryan Garcia has been recalled from Triple A Toledo.
There's still not much concrete information as to how much time Turnbull will miss, but any absence will be devastating for Detroit. Turnbull has been nothing short of terrific this season, owning a stellar 2.88 ERA with 44 strikeouts and a 0.980 WHIP through 50.0 innings pitched and 9 starts.
It's already been something of a lost season for the Tigers, but hopefully Turnbull can get back on track soon.
