Earlier this week, Los Angeles Chargers defensive end Joey Bosa had some interesting words about Las Vegas Raiders quarterback Derek Carr. Following the Chargers 28-14 victory over the Raiders on Monday, Bosa said that Carr was "curling into a ball" before L.A.'s defense could even get to him and that "he's not as effective with a crowded pocket."

Carr finally replied to Bosa's comments on Wednesday, saying how he "thought it was unfortunate that [Bosa] even think to say it."

Carr, who was sacked four times during the loss, added that Bosa's comments did "piss" him off. However, he has no hard feelings towards his division rival. In fact, he acknowledged that the defender's comments could've been caused by the Raiders QB's trash talk throughout the game.

Nevertheless, Carr said that he's going to start fresh after the Week 4 loss and that he won't hold anything against Bosa even if he doesn't agree with his comments.

"Good thing it's a new week. [Bosa]'s entitled to that opinion and saying those things. But it's almost like he watched the game in reverse."

Carr has had a strong start to the 2021 NFL season, leading the league with 1,399 passing yards and two game-winning drives while also throwing eight touchdown passes to three interceptions. He was also named the AFC Offensive Player of the Month for September.

The 3-1 Raiders have a chance to get back on track this Sunday when they take on the Chicago Bears at home.
