The Colts have not clinched a playoff spot as of writing (Jan. 7).
What Seed Are the Colts?
Indianapolis currently owns the No. 6 seed in the AFC heading into Week 18. If they get some help from other teams, the Colts can end the weekend as high as the No. 5 seed.
Colts Playoffs 2022
Based on the current standings, the Colts would be one of six AFC teams playing during the first round of the playoffs. Wild Card Weekend will feature the six teams from each conference that did not earn a bye, with one of them being Indianapolis if they qualify.
Colts Playoff Dates
No matter where the Colts are seeded if they qualify for the postseason, they'll have to play in the opening round of the playoffs.
Wild Card Weekend will feature two games on Saturday, Jan. 15, three games on Sunday, Jan. 16, and one game on Monday, Jan. 17. Indianapolis would be assigned one of these three dates if they secure a playoff berth.
The second round, aka the Divisional Round, will take place from Jan. 22-Jan. 23. That is followed by the conference championship round on Jan. 30. The Super Bowl is scheduled for Feb. 13.
