After CeeDee Lamb entered the concussion protocol in Week 11, he made some quick improvements that gave him a shot at suiting up against the Las Vegas Raiders on Thanksgiving.
CeeDee Lamb Injury Update
The quick turnaround was too much to overcome, however, and he won't be playing on Thursday. That obviously means fantasy football managers need to get Lamb out of their lineups, but it does provide a nice boost to Michael Gallup and Cedrick Wilson's fantasy outlook.
Michael Gallup Fantasy Outlook
With both Lamb and Amari Cooper (COVID) on the shelf, Michael Gallup is the Cowboys' No. 1 WR. He slid into that role in Week 11, and while his efficiency left a lot to be desired (5 receptions for 44 yards), he did lead the team with 10 targets.
Expect Gallup to be the top dog in the Cowboys' passing game again this week, which is a very valuable role against a Raiders team that ranks No. 23 in Football Outsiders' pass defense DVOA metric.
Cedrick Wilson Fantasy Outlook
Efficiency woes also plagued Cedrick Wilson in his increased role last week, catching 4 passes for 36 yards while recording 2 drops. Still, his 7 targets were nothing to sneeze at, especially when considering that Lamb played 54% of the Cowboys' offensive snaps.
With Lamb out Wilson should be an every-down player this week, and he should be right behind Gallup in terms of targets.
Gallup is the preferred fantasy option, but Wilson is absolutely a viable plug-and-play starter if you're hurting for wide receiver depth in Week 12.
