Browns Get Concerning O-Line Injury Updates Ahead of Joey Bosa Matchup on Sunday
By Larry Rupp

The Cleveland Browns need to stay healthy if they want any shot of winning the AFC North division. Unfortunately, Cleveland recently got some concerning news regarding a pair of offensive linemen. Both Jedrick Wills Jr. and Chris Hubbard did not practice on Friday.
It isn't the type of news that the coaching staff wanted to see as Cleveland is set to take on the Los Angeles Chargers on Sunday. Defensive end Joey Bosa has been a force to be reckoned with this season racking up 6 quarterback hits, 2.5 sacks and 2 forced fumbles through four weeks of play.
#Browns LT Jed Wills (ankle) and OT Chris Hubbard (triceps) were not out at practice today, which isn’t a good sign with #Chargers Joey Bosa up on Sunday.

Browns News
Wills was Cleveland's first round pick during the 2020 NFL Draft and played in 90% of the offensive snaps during his rookie season. He has taken on a lessened role this year, but remains one of the Brown's best pass blockers. Wills has yet to allow a single sack on quarterback Baker Mayfield in 2021.
Meanwhile, Hubbard hasn't played since Week 1 as he continues to work his way back from a lingering triceps injury. The eighth-year pro did not draw a single penalty last season despite appearing in 290 offensive snaps and brings a veteran presence to an otherwise young O-line.
All things considered, this is a situation to keep an eye on heading into the weekend. Cleveland has already given up 12 sacks, which ties for the sixth-highest mark in the NFL. Offensive line depth is crucial to having success in this league and Cleveland will put that notion to the test in week 5.
The Browns are slated as 2.5-point underdogs against the Chargers, according to FanDuel Sportsbook.
