The Denver Broncos were dealt a major blow in Week 4 with quarterback Teddy Bridgewater suffering a concussion. Denver struggled without him against the Baltimore Ravens, and all eyes are on his status ahead of Week 5.

Ian Rapoport offered an update on Bridgewater following his injury.

Teddy Bridgewater Status

The Broncos' starter is progressing in his recovery from a concussion, which is great to hear. Despite feeling better, though, he won't practice on Wednesday.

It sounds like Bridgewater is extremely questionable to play on Sunday. He might miss most (if not all) of practice heading into a clash with the Pittsburgh Steelers, and the team could opt to play things safe.

That would vault Drew Lock into a starting role once again after he was beat out by Bridgewater this offseason. Lock managed to go 12-of-21 against the Ravens, totaling 113 yards while throwing an interception.

The Broncos' currently injury troubles at wide receiver will also play a signifiant factor on Sunday no matter who's under center.

Denver is 1.5-point underdog against the Steelers, according to FanDuel Sportsbook.
