Just when it seemed like the Tampa Bay Buccaneers' offense was finally playing up to its potential, the team was dealt a significant blow. Wide receiver Antonio Brown has been ruled out of the team's upcoming NFC Championship Game against the Green Bay Packers.

While Brown was initially shaping up to be a true game-time decision, it seems as though the wideout couldn't recover in time from the knee injury he suffered in the Divisional Round.

Antonio Brown Injury Update

Losing a player of AB's caliber would be a devastating hit for any team in the league, but the Bucs are better equipped to handle it than most. Tom Brady will still have superstars like Chris Godwin, Mike Evans and Rob Gronkowski. And guys like Cameron Brate, Tyler Johnson and Scotty Miller have all stepped up at various times this season.

Still, this offense will undoubtedly suffer without a Hall-of-Fame talent like Brown at wide receiver.

Brady and the Bucs are currently 3-point underdogs against the Packers, per FanDuel Sportsbook.
