The Tampa Bay Buccaneers' Divisional Round win over the New Orleans Saints didn't come without its costs. Antonio Brown was injured in the victory, leaving his status up in the air for the NFC Championship Game against the Green Bay Packers.
Brown underwent an MRI following the game, and the Bucs have received a great update on his status.
Antonio Brown Injury Update
Ian Rapoport reports that the MRI revealed Antonio Brown did not suffer a serious injury on Sunday. Being day-to-day this week means he's not a lock to play, but that is a good indication that he will likely be suiting up.
Brown was limited to just 1 catch on 3 targets against the Saints, but prior to that he turned 3 targets into 2 receptions for 49 yards and a touchdown in the Wild Card Round, and he had closed out the regular season with an average of 6.3 receptions, 78.8 yards and 1.0 touchdowns per game across his last four.
FanDuel Sportsbook's NFC Championship odds give this game a 50.5-point over/under, suggesting a potential shootout. In a game like that, the Bucs will need all the offensive firepower they can get, making Brown's status crucial.
As it stands, Tampa is a 3-point underdog against the Packers, and they have +430 odds to win the Super Bowl.
