American League MVP Odds: Mike Trout Leads the Field as Clear Favorite in AL

With the 2021 MLB season quickly approaching, projecting the MLB award winners is a top offseason activity and that includes the American League MVP award.
Just as we saw when last year's opening AL MVP odds were released, Mike Trout (+220) is a clear favorite to win the award in 2021 according to the player futures bets on FanDuel Sportsbook.
Trout finished an uncharacteristically low fifth in AL MVP voting in 2020, but he won the award in 2019, finished fourth in 2018, second in 2017 and won in 2016. Nobody else has been nearly as consistent in being in contention for the honor.
Nobody else comes close to Trout's odds this year, either. The rest of the top five are all bigger than +1000 underdogs, with Alex Bregman (+1100), Aaron Judge (+1200), Jose Ramirez (+1300) and Anthony Rendon (+1700) making up the group.
