2021-22 National Championship Odds Favor Alabama Over Clemson & Georgia
By Max Staley
The 2020-21 college football season has come to a close, and the Alabama Crimson Tide ended it with yet another title. The win marks Nick Saban's seventh as a head coach and his sixth in 14 seasons with the Crimson Tide.
But as all college football fans know, it's never too early to start looking ahead to next season. And unsurprisingly, Alabama is currently favored to win it all again next year, according to odds provided by FanDuel Sportsbook.
Alabama (+350) sits alone atop the odds to win next year's title. But the Clemson Tigers (+400) and Georgia Bulldogs (+400) are tied for the second-best odds and will likely give Bama a run for its money.
This year's runner-up, the Ohio State Buckeyes (+600) are tied for the third-best odds alongside Oklahoma (+600).
There's a pretty steep drop after that top five, however. The Iowa State Cyclones (+2000) boast the sixth-best odds, edging out the USC Trojans (+3000). The Florida Gators (+4000), Oregon Ducks (+4000) and Penn State Nittany Lions (+5000) to round out the rest of the top 10.
With next season still a ways away, however, these odds will surely continue to shift as the offseason progresses.
