After an exciting weekend of NCAA Football conference championships, the official 2021-22 College Football Playoff (CFP) field will be announced on Sunday, Dec. 5.

The nation's top-ranked teams are vying for the four coveted playoff spots and a chance to punch their tickets to the CFP National Championship on Monday, Jan. 10, 2022.

Who is in the CFP?

The official field for the College Football Playoff includes:
No. 1 Alabama Crimson Tide
No. 2 Michigan Wolverines
No. 3 Georgia Bulldogs
No. 4 Cincinnati Bearcats

Who is in the College Football Playoff 2021-22?

Currently, four teams seem to be a lock for the 2021-22 College Football Playoff. Those teams include the Georgia Bulldogs, Michigan Wolverines, Alabama Crimson Tide and Cincinnati Bearcats.

With four teams seen as virtual locks, the biggest question coming out of Sunday's CFP Selection Show if the positions and potential matchups for the two semifinal games.

When is the CFP National Championship?

The CFP National Championship game is scheduled for Monday, Jan. 10, 2022 in Indianapolis, Indiana. Prior to the national title game, the four teams will square off in the semifinals, scheduled for Friday, Dec. 31.

CFP's first semifinal will be played at 3:30 p.m. EST as the Cotton Bowl and the second game will kick off at 7:30 p.m. EST as the Orange Bowl.

College Football National Championship Odds

Currently, Georgia holds the most favorable odds (+120) to win the CFP National Championship on FanDuel Sportsbook. Alabama ranks second with just +140 odds while Michigan (+800) and Cincinnati (+1200) round out the top-four in betting odds.

The official field for the College Football Playoff (CFP) will be announced on Selection Sunday, or Sunday, Dec. 5 at 12 p.m. EST on ESPN.
