When Was the Last Time Duke Missed the NCAA Tournament?
By David Hayes

The Duke Blue Devils are sitting in a rather unfamiliar position this March, as head coach Mike Krzyzewski's 2021 squad has an unorthodox 11-11 record heading into the ACC Tournament as the No. 10 seed.
That being said, the Blue Devils also have quite the mountain ahead of them as far as making this year's 2021 NCAA March Madness Tournament. In fact, they may already be all but eliminated without a magical run to the final or even winning the automatic bid with an ACC Tournament victory.
When Was the Last Time Duke Missed the NCAA Tournament?
Duke hasn't missed the NCAA March Madness Tournament since the 1994-95 season, when Coach K's Blue Devils finished dead last in the ACC standings with a 2-14 ACC record and a 13-18 overall record.
For a program as historically successful in so many aspects of college basketball as Duke, missing the tournament has become a pure rarity. However, as we've seen this season, it's still not an impossibility.
