Saquon Barkley Injury Update Clouds His Fantasy Value

Saquon Barkley went down in worrying fashion on Sunday. He got banged up on back-to-back plays, but he appeared to be in serious pain after the second play, immediately grabbing his knee once he went to the ground.
While there's no concrete update on his status, any extended absence would obviously be devastating for anyone who drafted Barkley.
Giants say RB Saquon Barkley is being taken in for x-rays on his knee.

Saquon Barkley Injury Update
This is really worrying. The knee injury certainly did not look good and he hasn't come back into the game since the play. He has already been ruled out for the remainder of the game.
This will be a situation to monitor closely. But if Barkley does miss any time, Dion Lewis would see a significant uptick in fantasy value.
Dion Lewis Fantasy Outlook
Lewis would likely be the bell cow if Barkley were to miss any time. Against an offensive line with this many holes, Lewis likely wouldn't be too valuable as a rusher, but he's a pretty solid pass-catcher.
Playing second fiddle to Derrick Henry over the last two seasons, Lewis has racked up a combined 84 receptions on 99 targets.
If Barkley is out for any period of time, Lewis would be a decent RB3 or FLEX option, particularly in PPR formats.
