One of the things that Baltimore Ravens fans are most exciting about in training camp is the play of their new wide receiver corps.

Baltimore addressed a major issue of need by selecting standout Minnesota Golden Gophers wide receiver Rashod Bateman in the first round. With so much promise surrounding the newest Ravens wideout, his latest injury update is extremely worrisome news in Baltimore.

On Tuesday, Bateman pulled up while running a route in camp. He immediately fell to the ground and was walked into the building with a limp.

Rashod Bateman Injury Update

It's far too early to tell how serious Bateman's injury actually is. But, walking off the field immediately with a "pronounced limp" is not a good sign.

Baltimore had high expectations for their rookie wideout. After all, he averaged 93.9 receiving yards per game over his last two seasons in college while recording 96 receptions and 13 touchdowns across that 18 game span.

Ravens fans will want to pay close attention to how Bateman's injury situation updates as training camp rolls on.

Currently, the Ravens own the fifth-best odds (+1400) to win Super Bowl 56, according to the latest NFL odds on FanDuel Sportsbook.
