Without further ado, here are three players to target and two to avoid in Friday, 2/19, NBA DFS action.
FanDuel Picks Tonight NBA
Jayson Tatum Fantasy
Target Jayson Tatum, ($9,400), PF, Boston Celtics: Jayson Tatum torched the Atlanta Falcons the last time he faced them, dropping 54.2 FanDuel points. That's not unsustainable, either, as playing Atlanta almost always leads to fantasy production, as the Hawks are a bottom-10 team by defensive rating. Look for Tatum to put up big numbers again tonight.
Malik Beasley Fantasy
Target Malik Beasley, ($6,900), SF, Minnesota Timberwolves: Malik Beasley has been absolutely on fire over his last nine games. The Minnesota Timberwolves breakout star is averaging 23.8 PPG and a solid 36.3 FanDuel points per outing. And now that D'Angelo Russell is set to miss the next 4-6 weeks, Beasley should take on an even bigger role in the offense.
Saddiq Bey Fantasy
Target Saddiq Bey, ($5,800), SF, Detroit Pistons: Saddiq Bey has been on an absolute role lately, averaging 36.3 FanDuel points over his last three outings. That's a lot of production for someone who only costs $5,800 tonight. Now facing a below-average Memphis Grizzlies' defense, there's no reason to believe he'll slow down here.
Giannis Antetokounmpo Fantasy
Avoid Giannis Antetokounmpo, ($11,300), Milwaukee Bucks: The Milwaukee Bucks have been really struggling recently, having lost five consecutive games. Getting a matchup at home with the Oklahoma City Thunder should be exactly what the doctor ordered. While that would normally mean big things for Giannis' fantasy value, there's a significant risk that Milwaukee blows OKC out and benches its star in the fourth, which it often does. Considering the fact that Giannis is the most expensive player on the slate, and $1,900 more than the next PF, he's just too risky to use tonight.
Zach LaVine Fantasy
Avoid Zach LaVine ($9,500), SG, Chicago Bears: Zach Lavine has been on an absolute tear this season, but he draws a very difficult matchup here. Philadelphia sports the sixth-best defensive rating in the NBA and checks in as a top-12 scoring defense. At $9,500, that's not the type of matchup you want to be paying up for.
