Not all the money is supporting the higher seeds or even the No. 1 seeds in March Madness opening round action. The defending NCAA Tournament champions (2019) Virginia Cavaliers (18-6) may have their hands full against the Ohio Bobcats (16-7) when the No. 4 vs No. 13 match-up tips off on Saturday, March 20.

Bettors are making their position known at FanDuel Sportsbook, and look forward to tuning in for tipoff at 7:15 p.m. ET on truTV.

Virginia vs Ohio Betting

The Ohio Bobcats are a 7-point underdog at FanDuel Sportsbook, after opening plus-8 against Virginia. The betting lines continue to adjust based on action, and Ohio has taken 80% of the spread bets and 91% of the spread money. The over/under is also getting a lot of interest, as 3 out of every 4 bets are betting over, and 83% of the money is supporting over the total. Yet the total has dipped down from the opening odds, and is currently at 130.5. Ohio has also taken 41% of the moneyline bets to win the game outright.

Virginia's defense is not at the elite level of recent editions under head coach Tony Bennett. The ACC regular-season champs rank No. 33 in KenPom's adjusted defensive efficiency rankings. But Virginia's offense is more effective and takes care of the basketball, ranking top-15 in offensive efficiency, field goal and turnover percentage.

Ohio is one of just eight teams in the NCAA Tournament that averages more than 80 points per game. The Bobcats offense checks in at No. 29 in KenPom's offensive efficiency rankings, led by strong shooting at No. 13 in effective field goal percentage. In a contrast of styles, Ohio will try to run and use their strong passing and transition game while Virginia will try to make the Bobcats play more in the half-court.

Virginia has shot better than its season average of 48% 11 times this season. The Cavs went 10-1 in those games, and Ohio was 0-6 when they allowed the oponent to shoot 48% or better.
