A scary scene took place during Sunday's Cleveland Indians-Minnesota Twins game after the Indians' Josh Naylor and Ernie Clement collided in the outfield. Naylor stayed down on the ground in obvious pain and needed to be carted off.

Josh Naylor Injury Update

There's no word on Naylor's exact status yet given the Indians and Twins are still playing, but he's surely headed for tests to determine the severity of his injury. Reports say that Naylor appeared to his leg or ankle, but we'll have to await the results to see what kind of ailment(s) the outfielder suffered.

Naylor was off to a promising start this season, hitting 7 home runs, 21 RBI and 13 doubles while slashing .255/.304/.403 across 68 games.

The 24-year-old may be headed for a lengthy stint on the IL, which would be a blow to Cleveland's lineup. The Indians currently sit just 2.0 games behind the Chicago White Sox for first place in the AL Central.
