The Miami Heat have made themselves one of the more aggressive teams in the league just ahead of this Thursday's 2021 NBA Trade Deadline.

Miami made a big splash by bringing in former Houston Rockets guard Victor Oladipo, and the oddsmakers have taken quite the liking to this addition in a major way with FanDuel Sportsbook's latest odds to win the NBA Finals.

Miami Heat NBA Championship Odds 2021

Earlier this same Thursday morning, the Heat had just +4600 odds to win the 2021 NBA Finals, but following this afternoon's trade to bring Oladipo to Miami, the Heat have taken a massive leap to +3200 odds.

At +3200 odds to win it all, they now trail only the overall favorites in the Brooklyn Nets (+280), the Milwaukee Bucks (+750) and the Philadelphia 76ers (+1000) out of the Eastern Conference.

The Heat are coming off a special run to the 2020 NBA Finals as the No. 4 seed out of the Eastern Conference, however, they haven't been able to replicate that same kind of magic in the 2021 regular season, sitting just 22-22 through 44 games this year.

Considering we all know that this team has proven to have a different gear in the postseason, the addition of Oladipo has clearly taken them one step further in the right direction as far improving their postseason potential this year.
