It is good news for the New York Giants as starting tight end Evan Engram is expected to play in their Week 15 matchup against the Cleveland Browns. He popped up on the injury report late in the week with a calf issue, but it looks like he will be ready to go on Sunday Night.
Evan Engram Fantasy Outlook
Engram is having an up-and-down season so far. He's on pace to have his best year since his rookie season, but he has scored just 2 touchdowns and has struggled with drops throughout 2020. His 8 drops are tied for the second-highest total in the NFL.
However, he has proven to be solid from a fantasy football perspective, averaging 3.8 catches per game this season and surpassing 50 receiving yards in three games. He also draws a great matchup in Week 15 as the Browns' defense has allowed the second-most PPR points per game to opposing tight ends.
The 26-year-old has been right on the cusp of being starter worthy all season, and this game has all the makings of a strong performance from Engram. He checks in as the No. 11 tight end in our Week 15 fantasy football rankings.
