Update (Friday, Dec. 10, 3:50 p.m. ET): Darren Waller has officially been ruled out for Sunday's game. Foster Moreau will make his second straight start after turning 3 targets into 1 reception and 34 yards in Week 13:
Darren Waller missed the Las Vegas Raiders' Week 13 game after suffering a knee injury on Thanksgiving. Waller wasn't able to practice at all leading up to last Sunday, so it's imperative he gets in some reps before Week 14.
Darren Waller Injury Update
The latest update on Waller clouds his fantasy outlook.
Darren Waller Fantasy Outlook
Waller was a DNP once again on Wednesday with knee and back injuries. He's considered day-to-day however, which is an upgrade from being "week-to-week" after Thanksgiving.
There's no telling right now if the tight end will play. Reports earlier in the week suggested he wants to return in Week 14, but he'll likely need to log at least limited practices to have a shot at suiting up.
As the current TE7 in PPR scoring, Waller would give fantasy managers' lineups a huge boost with the playoffs on the line. He's second on the Raiders in targets (84) despite playing in just 10 games this season while averaging 5.3 receptions and 64.3 yards per game.
He'll get a fantastic matchup if he does return as well. The Kansas City Chiefs are allowing the eighth-most PPR points per game to opposing TEs this season.
KC held Waller to just 4 receptions for 24 yards in Week 10, but there are few options with better upside if he does play on Sunday. However, managers should have backup plans in mind in case the TE isn't able to go.
