Broncos Get Concerning News on Teddy Bridgewater Concussion

The Denver Broncos suffered their first loss of the season in Week 4, and it came at a price. Numerous Broncos players ended up on the injury report following this contest against the Baltimore Ravens. Most notable among them was quarterback Teddy Bridgewater.
Bridgewater suffered a concussion on Sunday and head coach Vic Fangio announced that his starting quarterback begins this week of practice in the concussion protocol.

Bridgewater was replaced by backup Drew Lock on Sunday, but the exact nature of his injury remained uncertain. This injury turned out to be a concussion, leaving his availability for Week 5 in the hands of the medical team.
Concussions are obviously tricky to gauge from a missed time perspective and this will turn into a waiting game in Denver.
The seventh-year NFL veteran has enjoyed a resurgence year after earning the starting nod in Denver. Bridgewater is completing a career-high 72.1% of his passes to go along with 892 passing yards and 5 touchdowns to 0 interceptions.
