San Francisco 49ers rookie wide receiver Brandon Aiyuk is in the midst of a true breakout campaign. The 2020 first-round pick has racked up 748 receiving yards on 60 receptions with 5 touchdowns through 12 appearances.

However, he suffered a high-ankle sprain in Week 16, and he's unfortunately been ruled out for the remainder of the year. This is obviously a big blow to San Francisco's offense, but it should result in a big boon for Kendrick Bourne's fantasy outlook.

Kendrick Bourne Fantasy Outlook

Bourne isn't the receiver that Aiyuk or Deebo Samuel is, but he's a pretty solid player. And he should be serving as the No. 2 option for San Francisco (behind George Kittle), which should lead to plenty of volume in Week 17.

While the Week 17 matchup with the Seahawks looks juicy at first glance, Seattle has actually been tremendous on defense lately. That unit is surrendering just 9.0 points per game (PPG) over its last three, which is the best such mark in the NFL during that span.

If you're in a pinch, Bourne could be a solid WR3/FLEX option in Week 17. But a surprisingly tough matchup and the 49ers' poor QB play makes him a risky start.
