Nobody gave the Buffalo Bills much of a chance in their home stadium against the Seattle Seahawks, but what happened? The Bills gave Russell Wilson and the Seahawks a shot to the gut.
Josh Allen looked more like the MVP candidate than Wilson in this one, with four total touchdowns compared to Russell's four turnovers, and just like that Buffalo has won three straight games again. Next, they'll head out west to play the Arizona Cardinals and Kyler Murray, where they are 1.5-point underdogs on FanDuel Sportsbook.
The Bills are the road team and Arizona is no slouch at 5-3, but it's still hard to consider Buffalo an underdog after the way the Bills played in Week 9. The defense looked much more like the Bills D that we remember from 2019, limiting the top offense in the NFL to 10 first-half points.
The Cardinals are also coming off a shaky performance defensively against the Miami Dolphins, where they let rookie Tua Tagovailoa lead three touchdown drives with his third and fourth-string running backs. Murray played really well, but how will this defense hold up facing a much better offense led by Allen?
Until Buffalo actually clinches the AFC East, they'll probably continue to be disrespected by the doubters who remember the Bills of years past. This franchise has been on the rise for years now though, and we're starting to find out that it's their time now.
