3 Teams Deshaun Watson Has Dominated the Most

The former Clemson superstar, Deshaun Watson, has taken the NFL by storm with the same vigor and strength of will that propelled him throughout college. He's a warrior on the field, plain and simple, and that mentality has put him in the conversation of the top young quarterbacks in the game.

In turn, the Houston Texans organization finally got their first true franchise quarterback. They have become a perennial contender whenever Watson takes the field. Here are the teams Deshaun has dominated most, early in his career.

3. Kansas City Chiefs, 1-1

Watson may only be 1-1 against the Kansas City Chiefs, but that record comes at no fault of his own. In one on one matchups against Patrick Mahomes, Watson has put up his end of the bargain with 270.5 passing yards per game and eight total touchdowns compared to two interceptions (101.5 rating). Mahomes versus Watson is always a spectacular showdown, something we will see in week one of 2020. Honorable mentions go to the Atlanta Falcons and Miami Dolphins, who Deshaun lit up with absurd numbers, but only played once.

2. Cleveland Browns, 2-0

As of now, the only team Watson has a perfect record against in more than one appearance is the Cleveland Browns. His touchdown to turnover ratio against Cleveland is 4:1, with 502 total yards in the two games. Watson's quarterback rating against the franchise is a 102.7. The Texans and Browns are scheduled to play again in 2020, where Baker Mayfield will have an opportunity to take down Deshaun.

1. Tennessee Titans, 3-1

The only team Watson has a better win percentage against in the league is the Jacksonville Jaguars at 4-1, but his stats against the Jags are actually much more pedestrian. The QB has torched the Tennessee Titans for over 1,000 yards passing in four games with 12 total touchdowns and a 72.65 completion percentage. His quarterback rating is a 114.1 against the division rival, a stat he will hope to keep high in 2020.
