Matthew Stafford's first season away from the Detroit Lions could not be going better. He and the Los Angeles Rams have advanced to the NFC Championship Game, leaving him just one win away from the first Super Bowl appearance of his 13-year career.

49ers vs Rams Odds

Things are looking promising for the Rams ahead of the NFC Championship Game. They're currently listed as the 3.5-point home favorites over the San Francisco 49ers, according to FanDuel Sportsbook.

Even if Stafford's Rams are the favorites, they're 0-6 against the 49ers in their last six meetings. In other words, he'll need to be at the top of his game on Sunday.

If you're looking to add some excitement to the NFC Championship game, here are the three best Stafford-centric player props.

Matthew Stafford Player Props

1. Matthew Stafford - Passing Touchdowns: Over 1.5 (-225)

Stafford has been playing some of his best football of the season over the last several weeks. He's helped the Rams win seven of their last eight games, throwing for 18 touchdown passes over that stretch. He's hit the over for this prop in all but one game over that span, which includes a pair of TDs in his last outing against the 49ers. Los Angeles' offense revolves around Stafford throwing the ball and the NFC Championship Game should be no different.

2. Matthew Stafford - Passing Yards: Under 277.5 (-114)

Even though Stafford is no stranger to putting up a plethora of passing yards on any given night, he doesn't always have the same success against San Francisco. The 49ers held him to less than 277 passing yards in each of the two regular season meetings between the NFC West rivals. Whatever the reason may be, it's like San Francisco has Stafford's number. Not only that but he's finished with the under on this prop in four of his last six outings. The 49ers defense is on another level right now and fans shouldn't be too surprised if they keep Stafford in check this weekend.

3. Matthew Stafford - Interception: Yes (-125)

Rams fans have been thrilled with Stafford's mistake-free postseason play. While he's thrown the ball 55 times so far, he's yet to throw an interception. Keeping that in mind, it's important to point out that he had eight interceptions in his final four games leading up to the NFL Playoffs. Stafford also had a combined four interceptions in his two outings against the 49ers in 2021. He hasn't gone more than two consecutive games without throwing an interception this season, so it seems like he's due for one. With the 49ers averaging a pick over their last three games, there's a good chance that Stafford could make a mistake this Sunday.
