The White Sox will begin their 2023 season on the road against the Houston Astros on March 30. The Astros have been one of the best teams in baseball this year and are currently favored to win the AL pennant on FanDuel Sportsbook's MLB odds.
That's a tough way to start the year, but Chicago should have an easier time in its home opener on April 3 against the San Francisco Giants. The Giants are a .500 team at the moment, but they'll be looking to bounce back to their 107-win form from 2021.
The really unique thing about the schedule this year, though, is that for the first time ever all 30 teams will play each other. The increase in inter-league action will mean White Sox fans get to see a lot more of the National League's stars than they're used to.
Regardless of how the rest of this season turns out for the White Sox, at least they have an intriguing 2023 schedule to look forward to.
