When Was Kansas' Last National Championship?
Kansas' last National Championship occurred in 2008. This was the third national title in program history.
Entering the 2008 NCAA Tournament as a No. 1 seed, Kanas went on to top No. 1 UNC in the semifinals, 84-66. This set up a thrilling matchup with No. 1 Memphis.
Kansas came out on top in the 2008 National Title game by a score of 75-68 in overtime. Guard Mario Chalmers led the way with 18 points and was named the tournament's Most Outstanding Player.
