After an exciting first two rounds of the U.S. Open at Torrey Pines, we head into moving day and the weekend with a tight race at the top of the leaderboard. Russell Henley was able to hold on to his lead from Round 1 and sits at -5. However, there are 20 players even or better trailing him.
Jon Rahm (+380), Xander Schauffele (+650) and Louis Oosthuizen (+700) are the top three leaders when it comes to odds, despite being two, three and one stroke off the lead, respectively.
After the top three, we have other names near the top of the leaderboard in Matthew Wolff (+1000), Russell Henley (+1100), Brooks Koepka (+1600), Bryson DeChambeau (+1600), Bubba Watson (+2000), Collin Morikawa (+2000) and Justin Thomas (+2200), according to FanDuel Sportsbook's latest U.S. Open odds. They all round out the top-10 in odds.
U.S. Open Cut Line
When Round 2 began, the projected cut line was +1. By the time Round 2 had concluded, it was +4. Names like Jordan Spieth, Patrick Reed, Phil Mickelson, Gary Woodland and even defending champion Bryson DeChambeau were all in danger of missing the cut but snuck in.
Guys like Tony Finau, Will Zalatoris and Tyrrell Hatton weren't so lucky.
