The Dallas Cowboys have officially ruled out Tony Pollard for Week 14. The explosive RB2 has been dealing with a foot injury that kept him from practicing, but the team didn't make its final decision on his status until this morning.

With Pollard sidelined, both Ezekiel Elliott and Corey Clement should see an uptick in their fantasy outlooks.

Ezekiel Elliott Fantasy

Under normal circumstances, a Pollard injury would lead to a massive workload for Elliott. But we're not dealing with normal circumstances here. Elliott has not looked like himself recently as he's battled through injuries of his own.

The three-time Pro Bowler hasn't reached 60 rushing yards since Week 6, averaging 11.0 attempts for 38.8 rushing yards per game across his last five appearances. That's not what fantasy managers are used to seeing from Zeke. Plus, the Washington Football Team has a top-10 rush defense by DVOA, so this matchup isn't exactly a cakewalk.

While Pollard's absence could lead to a slightly increased workload, Dallas will likely continue to manage his touches. Even with Pollard out, Elliott is still best viewed as a solid RB2 this week.

Corey Clement Fantasy

With Pollard sidelined, Corey Clement should be in line to serve as Dallas' RB2. Pollard was averaging 8.9 rushes per game and 2.9 targets per game heading into Week 14, meaning his absence could free up 11.8 opportunities.

Of course, Clement isn't the home-run threat that Pollard is. And he's far from a lock to actually see double-digit opportunities today.

Clement is little more than a desperation FLEX option.
