T.Y. Hilton Injury Update Could Boost Zach Pascal Fantasy Outlook

T.Y. Hilton has done nothing but disappoint for fantasy football managers in 2020, and it's consistently been best to keep him out of the starting lineup. That decision may get even easier moving forward, as Hilton just got ruled out for the remainder of Week 8 with a groin injury.
That could provide a boost to Zach Pascal's fantasy outlook if Hilton misses any extended time.
#Colts injury update: WR T.Y. Hilton (groin) is OUT for the remainder of the game.

While Hilton hasn't produced much, boasting just 242 yards and 20 receptions through his first six games, he has commanded the lion's share of the volume in the Colts' passing game. His 37 targets were a team-high, accounting for 18.7% of their total.
Second to Hilton in targets, with 28, is Pascal. He's the only other Colts WR with more than even 12 on the year, so he can be expected to firmly establish himself as the team's WR1 with Hilton on the shelf.
Of course, with Rivers spreading the ball around so much, featuring RBs and TEs heavily, even an absence from Hilton wouldn't make Pascal much more than a fringe FLEX play in fantasy football.
If this injury proves to be remotely serious, fantasy managers can feel good about cutting ties and dropping Hilton.
